You're Invited!
Don't forget about our Catalina Island Lobster EXTRAVAGANZA
We will be fishing for White Sea Bass, Yellowtail, Bass, Halibut, hooping for lobster, barbecuing, partying, and just plain having fun. We are planning on the weekend of January 7th, 8th and 9th. We will be staying in Two Harbors and it would be great to have as many OAC boats there as possible. Come on out for 3 days, 2 days or just a few hours and enjoy hanging out with other members. Weather permitting, we will try and have a raft up of boats from 12pm to 5pm on Saturday for BBQ's, swapping of fish stories, and jumping from boat to boat and meeting your fellow members. We will need to split up by 5pm so everyone can get some lobster fishing done and the possible night bite of the elusive White Sea Bass. Please either call at 760-801-1665 or email at fallrent@tfb.com and let me know if you plan to make the trip. If the weather is bad we will cancel the trip and plan it for another date.

It is time to get your applications in for our yearly banquet. This year we will be holding our event at the Ocean House in Carlsbad. Please submit your applications early for the early bird drawing by the February 1st deadline. In previous years we have sold out, so be sure to mail or drop the forms off at Ken's today! Application forms will be mailed out this week. This should turn out to be a great new venue for our club with great food. Don't miss all the raffle prizes we have planned including the David Wirth Carved art piece for the special raffle item. Jackets to our big fish winners for the 2010. And of course our great award presentation to top anglers and boat.

Help support your club and drop off a raffle item to Ken's Custom Reel or to Pat's Bait & Tackle. Your donation will help us to provide great tournaments and support to our members. Also it allows us to contribute to the children of Camp Pendleton Marines with our yearly rod and reel donation for the Daddy and Me fishing event.
